Job Summary

Administer and support enterprise Linux/Windows servers and virtualization environments, including storage and backup platforms. Ensure OS hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, and certificate/secrets renewal while monitoring health, capacity, and performance. Handle incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis, execute backup/restore and DR activities, and maintain runbooks and documentation. Participate in shift-based on-call support and coordinate with application, network, security, database, and cloud teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Administer enterprise systems including Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, storage, and backup platforms.
•Apply OS hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation; manage certificate and secrets renewal.
•Monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance across infrastructure platforms.
•Perform incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis; execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities.
•Maintain system inventory and operational documentation (runbooks, SOPs) and support shift-based on-call and escalation.

Key Requirements

•Experience administering Linux/Windows and enterprise virtualization/storage/backup environments.
•Hands-on skills with VMware/ESXi and NetBackup.
•Proficiency with Azure and tools such as Nagios, Opsgenie, or PagerDuty.
•Ability to configure and run CI/CD pipelines using Octopus Deploy or Jenkins.
•Knowledge of operational security practices (hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation) and access control.
