Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform cleaning, monitoring, and securing operations to assist with set-up of a vacuum atomization furnace.
  • •Work from verbal and written instructions to execute repetitive tasks before, during, and after the atomization process.
  • •Assist with preparing raw material charges, running the furnace control board, cleaning the atomization chamber, and making minor repairs on furnace and auxiliary equipment.
  • •Support removal/replacement of furnace lid and coils, including cleaning the furnace chamber interior and “O” ring seal.
  • •Adhere to CORE and EH&S guidelines, including wearing required PPE such as a respirator and mask (4th shift: Fri–Sun, 7:00am–7:00pm).
