Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction/heavy equipment, and customer assets. Work Monday–Friday with overtime and possible on-call scheduling, handling a range of installation scenarios from basic power/ignition/ground to complex custom wiring and CAN-network integration. Troubleshoot issues, travel within a 250-mile radius for job sites and rental yards, and represent the EquipmentShare platform and brand while delivering safe, accurate installs.

Key Responsibilities

•Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
•Operate machinery as needed during installation for testing purposes.
•Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
•Handle installation scenarios from basic wiring to complex custom wiring harnesses for CAN network access.
•Identify and resolve problems, gather/analyze information, travel to client sites or rental yards, and represent the EquipmentShare platform/brand while in the field.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
•Mechanical aptitude with hands-on tool work and strong attention to detail.
•Hard-working, eager to learn, and mechanically inclined.
•Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, or car audio installer) and/or mobile electronics installation experience.
•Ability to drive, navigate tight spaces, lift 25+ lb, and travel within a 250-mile radius for up to a week at a time.
