Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop service provider to PSAP technical architectures that meet business and operational requirements.
  • •Produce high-level and detailed technical design documentation aligned to NENA governing standards and related RFCs.
  • •Define NG911 technology standards, design principles, and architectural patterns; evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions.
  • •Serve as primary technical authority for NG911 projects/programs, lead architecture reviews/design workshops, and guide implementation through transition to operations.
  • •Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and constraints, ensuring security, compliance, and operational requirements are met.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
  • •8–15+ years of network or application experience, including 5+ years in E911 and/or NG911 environments.
  • •5+ years in technical architecture, solution architecture, or senior engineering roles.
  • •Experience designing NG911 NGCS and PSAP CHS solutions, including delivering technical documentation (ATP, DR, COOP, ICDs).
  • •Experience leading complex technical initiatives and participating in NENA technical working groups.
