Key Responsibilities

  • •Relationship Stewardship & Growth: Cultivate long-term relationships with new and existing clients by serving as a trusted technical advisor and identify strategic opportunities to expand the firm’s footprint.
  • •Technical Eminence (Claims & Delay): Lead analyses of project schedule delays, cost overruns, and productivity issues; provide independent opinions on cause-and-effect relationships.
  • •Engagement Leadership: Define strategy and oversee execution of complex consulting engagements ensuring delivery of high-quality work that reconciles claim amounts.
  • •Talent Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of analysts and associates, fostering collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.
  • •Thought Leadership: Enhance brand by leading in industry organizations and contributing to white papers or conferences.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field; Advanced degree or professional certifications (P.Eng, PMP, PE) preferred.
  • •10+ years of disputes/claims consulting experience in the construction and engineering industries.
  • •Proficiency in delay analysis and forensic scheduling; advanced skills in Primavera P6 and experience developing or analyzing schedule delay models.
  • •Established presence in the Toronto legal/construction community and ability to originate work through professional networks.
  • •Exceptional ability to distill complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including legal counsel and triers of fact.
