Key Responsibilities

  • •Organize aircraft and structured practical training activities based on aircraft scheduling and line/base maintenance requirements, ensuring required documents (e.g., NRI/logbook entries) are raised and tracked.
  • •Liaise with hangar Shift Managers to plan work allocation for structured practical training tasks and ensure trainees complete Structured Practical Training, OJT, and AMEL logbook items in compliance with the Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition.
  • •Monitor trainee performance by performing regular assessments, reviewing and signing the Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Logbook, and reporting strengths/weaknesses to training management.
  • •Keep current with company technical publications and provide trainees with updated knowledge for Basic and Type training, ensuring all activities follow safety rules, regulations, and company procedures.
  • •Conduct routine aircraft maintenance/servicing tasks compliant with manufacturers and local safety procedures, review/update training documentation/logbooks for compliance, and support final technical assessments with the Compliance Monitoring section.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience as an approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
  • •Hold a valid UAE-GCAA CAR 66 AMEL CAT B1 or B1+B2 license with endorsements of at least two aircraft types (B777, A350, A380).
  • •Authorization issued by a CAR 145 organization compliance monitoring / quality assurance.
  • •Be conversant with the Basic Training CAR66 AMEL programme and Aircraft Type Training being taught, including UAE-GCAA CAR 66/147 and EASA Part 66/147 requirements.
  • •Demonstrated ability to assess trainee competence, mark/analyse responses, and provide feedback with excellent report writing and analytical thinking.
