Key Responsibilities

•Preventively maintain, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and alter defective equipment, including complex production equipment.
•Maintain electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and perform maintenance checks on buildings and equipment.
•Control inventory and requisition appropriate parts; maintain maintenance and repair logs.
•Operate industrial equipment including skyjack and forklift, and perform general repairs and safety equipment installation when necessary.
•Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and comply with safety/food safety requirements (including lockout-tag out, PPE, confined space safety, and safe chemical handling).

Key Requirements

•Ability to inspect equipment, identify potential problems, and take corrective action to prevent component failures or equipment downtime.
•Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
•Effective verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to meet physical requirements, including frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing up to 100 pounds.
