Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement complex enterprise Linux platforms for multiple AWS regions and data center locations.
  • •Drive delivery and technical direction by setting roadmaps, influencing outcomes, and providing technical leadership to other engineers and teams.
  • •Provide 3rd-line support escalation and deliver technical training to infrastructure support/operations backline teams as needed.
  • •Deliver Linux services with security at the core, including analyzing improvements and remediation plans for security vulnerabilities.
  • •Perform technical POCs/validations and participate in data center infrastructure refresh and migration activities, including operating system gold image ownership.

Key Requirements

  • •Have deep understanding of Linux server technologies and tooling (e.g., Foreman/Red Hat Satellite, SELinux, kernel internals, Oracle Linux/Amazon Linux, AWS Patch Manager, performance tuning).
  • •Have experience managing large-scale infrastructure with thousands of servers.
  • •Design Linux and infrastructure with configuration management and security controls in mind.
  • •Experience with antivirus and endpoint security protection techniques and tools.
  • •Have experience designing, implementing, and operationalising technology solutions.
