Job Summary

Design and implement enterprise Linux platforms used across multiple AWS regions and data center locations. Serve as a senior technical authority—driving complex initiatives, defining multi-year roadmaps, and providing technical direction. Own delivery of high-impact projects, including 3rd-line escalation support and training for infrastructure teams. Build Linux services with security at the core, run technical POCs, and support infrastructure refresh and migration activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement complex enterprise Linux platforms for multiple AWS regions and data center locations.
•Drive delivery and technical direction by setting roadmaps, influencing outcomes, and providing technical leadership to other engineers and teams.
•Provide 3rd-line support escalation and deliver technical training to infrastructure support/operations backline teams as needed.
•Deliver Linux services with security at the core, including analyzing improvements and remediation plans for security vulnerabilities.
•Perform technical POCs/validations and participate in data center infrastructure refresh and migration activities, including operating system gold image ownership.

Key Requirements

•Have deep understanding of Linux server technologies and tooling (e.g., Foreman/Red Hat Satellite, SELinux, kernel internals, Oracle Linux/Amazon Linux, AWS Patch Manager, performance tuning).
•Have experience managing large-scale infrastructure with thousands of servers.
•Design Linux and infrastructure with configuration management and security controls in mind.
•Experience with antivirus and endpoint security protection techniques and tools.
•Have experience designing, implementing, and operationalising technology solutions.
