Job Summary

Lead the design of a DevOps strategy and help evolve cloud infrastructure for AWX services, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. Manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, build and enhance tooling and platforms for self-service, and develop observability and detection capabilities to reduce time to discover issues. Collaborate cross-functionally and align DevOps engineers across geographies on shared tools and standards to support Airwallex’s next stage of growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design of the organization’s DevOps strategy for AWX services.
•Develop and evolve cloud infrastructure optimized for performance, scalability, and security with cross-functional teams.
•Manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters for domain services and maintain their reliability.
•Create and enhance tooling and platforms that improve engineering self-service capabilities.
•Build observability and detection capabilities to reduce time to discover problems and improve stability without sacrificing agility or security.

Key Requirements

•Hands-on DevOps or Infra engineering experience with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Ansible, Shell) and 6+ years working with large, distributed systems.
•Expertise in at least one public cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and large-scale Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and services.
•Operational experience running production Kubernetes environments.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
•Strong communication and collaboration skills.
