Job Summary

Own end-to-end accounting operations for statutory accounting across Vercel’s current and future international entities, driving monthly/quarterly close, GAAP compliance, and audit readiness. Key Responsibilities

•Lead full-cycle monthly and quarterly close for international entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness under local GAAP and US GAAP.
•Guide AP/AR teams and manage payroll accounting and intercompany transactions with the global finance team.
•Own statutory compliance and audit support, including FS preparation, filings (including TDS/TCS returns), and coordination with auditors and tax advisors.
•Partner with US-based Controller and CAO on journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for the global close.
•Implement and evolve SOX-aligned controls and internal accounting policies; drive close process improvements via automation/AI and mentor junior staff.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: INR 6,942,000 - 8,678,000 annually

Key Requirements

•12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years managing a team.
•CA (Chartered Accountant) designation required; CPA or equivalent international qualification is a plus.
•Deep expertise in technical accounting across IFRS and US GAAP, including researching and applying local GAAP, statutory requirements, and tax/regulatory obligations.
•Hands-on ERP experience, with NetSuite strongly preferred.
•Proven experience managing or supporting Big 4 / top-tier audits and multi-entity international accounting structures.
