Job Summary

Manage purchasing, replenishment, and daily stock control for retail products in the Sports category. Maintain accurate inventory and stock management systems, receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders, and track stock movements with supporting documents. Keep stock levels within budgeted inventory parameters, process returns and damaged/un-saleable goods, and support weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventory.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage purchasing and replenishment of retail products and maintain stock levels within budgeted inventory parameters
•Maintain and update inventory and stock management systems within agreed parameters
•Receive deliveries and confirm goods match purchase order specifications; complete required paperwork for received items
•Manage stock movements in and out and maintain complete logs of stock movement aligned with transfer documents
•Administer returns and manage storeroom operations (space allocation, health and safety supervision, and cycle counts)

Key Requirements

•2–5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a similar role
•Product/category knowledge
•Retail industry experience
•Ability to maintain and update inventory and stock management systems accurately
•Knowledge of stock management controls, discrepancies, and inventory documentation
