Key Responsibilities

  • •Negotiate, draft, and review commercial agreements covering subscription software, data privacy and processing, intellectual property use, and professional services.
  • •Advise global Legal and People teams on employment law matters and provide strategic, practical legal guidance on corporate governance and other initiatives.
  • •Collaborate with legal team members across international office locations and identify legal risks, offering practical solutions to mitigate them.
  • •Improve document templates, alternate language playbooks, and internal legal resources to support the organization.
  • •Deliver legal training and guidance to employees on relevant issues, best practices, and company policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Admitted to practise in an Australian jurisdiction, with a current or readily obtainable practising certificate.
  • •5+ years post-qualification experience, ideally including private practice and in-house experience.
  • •5+ years drafting and negotiating technology contracts (e.g., software licenses, SaaS agreements, software development agreements, IT professional services).
  • •Experience working directly with sales representatives and advising business teams on customer contract issues.
  • •Substantive experience handling employment matters.
