Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify potential cyber threats, determine risk levels, and deliver analytical reports for varied audiences, including senior executives.
  • •Analyze indicators of compromise (IOCs) using forensic analysis, OSINT review/monitoring, and both customer-provided and open-source tools; pivot on previously reported IOCs.
  • •Discover adversary campaigns and anomalies across sensor and system logs, SIEMs, and other data sources; investigate and determine whether compromises occurred.
  • •Analyze and document malicious actor TTPs, recommend alignment to vulnerabilities, and develop IOCs and passive detection signatures for defensive countermeasures.
  • •Provide risk assessments and recommendations based on technologies, threats, intelligence, and vulnerabilities; collect metrics, track trends, and support coordinated vulnerability scoring and mitigation.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of relevant experience in cyber threat intelligence and risk analysis.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance and a Polygraph.
  • •DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification prior to start (Sec+, CySA+, CCNA-Security, or CND).
  • •DoD 8570/8140 CSSP Analyst certification prior to start (CEH, CySA+, or Certified First Responder-CFR).
  • •GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) or an equivalent 8570/8140 CSSP Analyst certification within the first 120 days.
