Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead all aspects of the Bridgewater Food Pilot Plant to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations supporting innovation, solution development, scale-up, and commercialization.
  • •Translate laboratory concepts into scalable manufacturing solutions; oversee prototype development and customer evaluation production.
  • •Drive operational excellence by monitoring KPIs and leading continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, efficiency, reliability, cost optimization, and customer experience.
  • •Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements including GMP, HACCP, FSMA, EMP, and OSHA; manage sanitation, environmental monitoring, audits, CAPAs, and risk assessments.
  • •Lead and develop a high-performing team, including coaching, training, engagement, succession planning, and workforce development to build future readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • •10+ years of experience in food manufacturing, pilot plant operations, process development, or related technical operations.
  • •3+ years of leadership experience managing technical, operations, or manufacturing teams.
  • •Demonstrated experience supporting product development, process scale-up, and commercialization activities.
  • •Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems, including GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and OSHA, and applicable regulatory requirements.
