Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute offshore lifting operations safely to support well clean-up, GPP back-gassing, and hydrocarbon export operations.
  • •Perform pre-start-up crane checks, ensure Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements are met, and confirm crane readiness with start-up procedures and work packs.
  • •Manage deck logistics, cargo handling, and container movements in accordance with operational and safety procedures.
  • •Coordinate with the Production Supervisor and Start-up Team to support daily operational requirements and maintain effective offshore team communication.
  • •Promote HSE excellence through risk assessments, toolbox talks, hazard identification, and emergency response support.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Offshore Crane Operator (Stage 3 or equivalent) certification and proven offshore crane operator experience.
  • •Offshore survival certifications: BOSIET/FOET and HUET.
  • •Valid offshore medical certificate (e.g., OGUK).
  • •VHF Radio Licence and LOLER, Banksman, and Slinging certification/training.
  • •Strong knowledge of HSE practices including hazard identification and emergency response; ability to ensure crane readiness in line with start-up procedures and work packs.
