Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify and secure new business by applying civil engineering expertise, including technical feasibility and value optimization.
  • •Maintain the customer base and increase profitability for Enbridge GTM assets in the Southern Region through relationship management and new business development.
  • •Develop technically feasible projects and oversee them from inception through execution, including scoping alternate project options.
  • •Support commercial origination strategy and create opportunities using knowledge of Mexican markets for natural gas exports into Mexico.
  • •Conduct negotiations and coordinate required support across internal departments; resolve commercial issues and perform post-mortem reviews of unsuccessful efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • •7 years of experience as a Business Development Specialist, Civil Engineering, or closely related role.
  • •Experience in natural gas transportation with engineering design or commercial work such as project scoping and feasibility for large-scale infrastructure.
  • •Business development origination including customer relationship management and contract negotiations for energy and pipeline services.
  • •Proficiency in Spanish and experience/knowledge of Mexican natural gas markets to create commercial opportunities and increase natural gas exports into Mexico.
