Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the paramedic during offshore operations in offshore/marine environments.
  • •Ensure compliance with safety programs and standards (e.g., hazard communication, confined space, lockout/tag-out, emergency shower/eyewash, chemical management).
  • •Create and maintain job hazard analyses and PPE assessments; perform safety inspections and support accident/mishap investigations.
  • •Support recovery operations at sea and dockside for Falcon 9, Dragon, and/or Starship, including associated transportation and post-processing activities.
  • •Manage environmental programs for EPA/USCG/DOT/RCRA compliance, including hazardous/non-hazardous waste handling, SPCC planning, spill response, and discharge permits (e.g., NPDES).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •Registered paramedic (EMT) or registered nurse (RN).
  • •2+ years implementing and overseeing environmental, health and safety programs.
  • •4+ years managing emergency response crews in incidents involving hazardous and non-hazardous material releases to air, soil, and water.
  • •Ability to pass Air Force background check, relevant USCG examinations/facility background checks, and maintain ACLS and CPR certification.
