Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform basic CAD and BIM design tasks as directed by the Engineer.
  • •Draft for a particular discipline and create/edit drawings and sketches in line with WSP Swedish CAD standards and agreed timescales.
  • •Complete CAD tasks received from Engineers and the CAD Coordinator, including generating sections, schedules, and schematics from general arrangement drawings.
  • •Coordinate and support CAD Technicians and the Global Complementary Centres (GCC) CAD team; provide regular work status updates including risks or concerns to the line manager.
  • •Ensure health & safety practices, support sustainability approach, help identify service improvements, ensure QMS compliance, complete timesheets by deadlines, and attend required team/project meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant discipline drafting service with AutoCAD.
  • •3-6 years of relevant CAD work experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • •Proven ability to produce plans, sections, and details from engineers’ basic sketches to full working drawings.
  • •Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD (version 2023+) including X-Refs, Lisp, Blocks, Layers, Model Space/Paper Space, Viewports, Pen Setting files, and AutoCAD utilities.
  • •Good knowledge of the relevant discipline and familiarity with BIM software packages.
