Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end vendor relationship for background checks and drug/alcohol testing, including performance, escalations, renewals, and issue resolution.
  • •Orchestrate every pre-employment check by coordinating with Recruiting Operations, Immigration Operations for work authorization checks, and Onboarding Operations to resolve exceptions.
  • •Administer pre-employment and support random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and return-to-duty drug and alcohol testing programs across DOT and non-DOT populations.
  • •Design and document the end-to-end pre-employment process, including a RACI for Recruiting, People Operations, and Onboarding.
  • •Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Employee Relations on adjudication decisions and FCRA-compliant recordkeeping, including DOT/PHMSA job profile designations.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience administering background check and/or drug and alcohol testing programs in a high-growth or regulated environment.
  • •Proven vendor management skills, holding external partners accountable to SLAs and resolving service issues.
  • •Track record designing and documenting end-to-end processes with clear roles and responsibilities across cross-functional teams.
  • •Working knowledge of FCRA and DOT/PHMSA screening and testing requirements as they apply to job profile designation.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, with 5+ years in People Operations, Recruiting Operations, or a related compliance function.
