Key Responsibilities

  • •Hire, mentor, retain, and develop engineering talent; set expectations and conduct performance reviews.
  • •Provide technical direction and oversee software design, development, deployment, and maintenance best practices.
  • •Manage engineering project planning, execution, resource allocation, and progress tracking to meet timelines and deliverables.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, QA, and Operations to ensure smooth integration of software delivery.
  • •Drive quality, risk, incident management, compliance/security standards, and define/report KPIs and metrics for the team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •Strong background in software engineering with deep understanding of the team’s technologies.
  • •Experience managing, motivating, and communicating with a diverse group of engineers and cross-functional stakeholders across Air Arabia hubs.
  • •Familiarity with agile methodologies, project planning, and tracking tools.
  • •Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
