Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute real-time monitoring and triage by monitoring alerts across EDR, firewall, IPS, WAF, and SIEM platforms.
  • •Deliver continuous threat monitoring as part of a rotating 24x7 shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • •Conduct deep incident investigations by correlating telemetry across EDR, network, and cloud log sources to determine root cause, scope, and indicators of compromise.
  • •Provide remediation guidance by delivering clear incident analysis and containment recommendations to client teams.
  • •Tune detection logic and maintain SOC playbooks/documentation, including updating runbooks and supporting shift handoffs.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of hands-on experience monitoring, triaging, and investigating security alerts in a SOC setting.
  • •Experience correlating telemetry daily across EDR, firewall, IPS, WAF, and SIEM tools to identify root causes.
  • •Ability to own complex incident investigations end to end and make sound escalation calls with minimal oversight.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills to document and explain technical incidents in plain language.
  • •Experience with industry security credentials such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GCIH, or equivalent, plus practical EDR/SIEM platform experience.
