Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead engineering and construction of temporary and permanent power generation plants, including generators, gas turbines, solar arrays, and hybrid systems.
  • •Oversee build and commissioning of power generation infrastructure and coordinate safe, efficient installation and integration with site power distribution and utility feeds.
  • •Develop maintenance programs with predictive maintenance schedules, performance monitoring, and upgrades to improve reliability.
  • •Perform power system analyses including load forecasting, energy modeling, and optimization for cost and efficiency.
  • •Collaborate with utility providers on grid interconnections and design resilient on-site generation; conduct hands-on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering.
  • •3+ years of experience in electrical engineering focused on power generation design, construction, or maintenance.
  • •Experience in industrial or manufacturing facility electrical engineering (ideally aerospace, telecommunications, or high-tech).
  • •Experience working with utility providers for grid connections, metering, and demand management.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
