Job Summary

Build and operate end-to-end data pipelines across ingestion, storage, and consumption to power data warehouses and data marts. You’ll design data models, implement databases for web-based applications, and handle database performance tuning and data lifecycle management. Partner with teams across engineering and business to deliver data projects, while supporting and enhancing existing pipelines and databases as new needs arise.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and propose end-to-end data pipelines (ingestion to storage to consumption) for data projects and databases for web-based applications.
•Implement data warehouses and data marts to serve data consumers and operationalize them for maintenance.
•Perform database design and modeling, organizing data at macro and micro levels for logical data models.
•Tune database performance and manage data lifecycle for data-centric projects.
•Support and enhance existing data pipelines and databases.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of total experience working with data integration teams.
•1+ years of in-depth experience developing data pipelines in an Apache Spark environment (preferably Databricks).
•1+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, demonstrating in-depth experience.
•Strong SQL skills and Spark performance tuning; good knowledge of database technologies and data warehousing.
•Ability to build data warehouses/data marts and apply best practices for performance and maintainability.
