Job Summary

Provide first-line managed security services for clients by monitoring firewall infrastructure, identifying and investigating incidents, and routing issues to the correct resolver group. Ensure zero missed SLA conditions through proactive detection, incident escalation, efficient resolution, and thorough handover during shift changes. Support maintenance windows for patching/configuration changes, update knowledge articles, and contribute to disaster recovery functions and tests when required.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions, identifying problems/errors prior to or when they occur.
•Investigate first-line incidents, identify root causes, and ensure efficient and comprehensive incident/request resolution.
•Provide telephonic or chat support to clients as required and follow handover procedures for shift changes to ensure continuity.
•Schedule maintenance windows for patching and configuration changes; report and escalate incidents where necessary.
•Update/create knowledge articles and identify opportunities for optimization and automation; support disaster recovery implementation and tests when required.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level experience troubleshooting and providing security/network/data center/systems/storage administration and monitoring support within a medium to large ICT organization.
•Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and products in the supported technical domain (e.g., Security, Network, Data Centre, Telephony).
•Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing) or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
•CCNA or relevant level 1 Network Security certification is good to have.
