Key Responsibilities

  • •Support routine pipeline engineering assignments using existing knowledge and best practices.
  • •Analyze viable pipeline solutions using standard procedures, technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
  • •Coordinate with all disciplines to develop clash-free designs and obtain input for discipline designs and drawings.
  • •Prepare and review design documentation and checks, including drawings, vendor/subcontractor submittals, and single/inter-discipline design verification.
  • •Perform and support pipeline analyses and design activities (e.g., wall thickness, stability, cathodic protection, free-span, stress, buckling mitigation, seismic, and installation analyses) and capture lessons learned.

Key Requirements

  • •3-8 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant performing detail design.
  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • •Familiar with the content and application of standards, codes, and guidelines applicable to pipeline engineering.
  • •Knowledge of many basic design techniques and analysis methods.
  • •Working knowledge of English (oral and written) and familiarity with HSE and TQM cost-conscious practices.
