Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and design-transfer activities from R&D into manufacturing.
  • •Coordinate the transfer of components, subassemblies, and finished products into Sonova manufacturing sites.
  • •Drive manufacturing readiness, including cost, quality, delivery readiness, and production yield.
  • •Lead cross-functional project planning and reporting: timelines, deliverables, resource needs, and stakeholder communications on status, risks, priorities, and required actions.
  • •Support manufacturing change activities including equipment/process documentation, first-article inspections, reliability issue resolution, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, CAPA, and post-launch manufacturing improvements.

Salary: CAD 91,200 - 114,000

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related technical discipline, preferably Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • •4+ years of experience in New Product Introduction, Manufacturing Engineering, product industrialization, manufacturing transfer, or launching products into production.
  • •Experience working with R&D and manufacturing teams to transition products into mass production.
  • •Strong project-management skills leading cross-functional teams and managing timelines, deliverables, resources, and dependencies.
  • •Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product-development environments, with problem-solving, analytical, and root-cause-analysis skills.
