Key Responsibilities

  • •Liaise with Red Hat Product Security and partners, and coordinate guidance between customer operations and security teams.
  • •Provide proactive security monitoring and analytical support for security impacts from planned changes, including timely diagnostic and remediation advice.
  • •Facilitate customer use of the Project Lightwell clearinghouse for scanning, triage, patching, and backporting.
  • •Work closely with engineering, product management, and technical support teams to debug, test, and resolve issues; serve as point of contact for major incidents.
  • •Mentor security and operations staff on security best practices and maintain customer engagement plans and case documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Associates’ or Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a technical discipline.
  • •10+ years of experience in a security role or in customer support, development, engineering, or QA.
  • •Red Hat Certified: RHCE (RHCA preferred).
  • •Security certification (CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, (ISC)² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), or Certified Ethical Hacker) preferred.
  • •Experience with agile/scrum and DevOps, including CI/CD concepts and working knowledge of RHEL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
