Job Summary

Lead the App1 office team and enable effective end-to-end coordination for global Allianz Technology platforms spanning finance, investments, risk/actuarial, procurement/reporting, treasury/compliance, people & culture, data & analytics, claims and retail solutions. Report to the EMT member, drive strategic and operational change aligned to Speed-2-Value, strengthen financial plans via controlling/CFO collaboration, and represent App1 with board and senior stakeholders while promoting modern technology and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Directly lead the App1 office team and manage the Head of App1 agenda, including preparation of strategic meetings (e.g., Supervisory Board, Board Meeting, Strategic/Planning Dialogue).
•Drive and facilitate organizational change to achieve targets aligned to Speed-2-Value and strategic goals, including cost reduction, sourcing model implementation, and quality/process improvements.
•Act as an interface representing App1 by communicating and collaborating with board members, senior managers, and stakeholders across the organization and cross-OE.
•Take measures in line with App1 controlling and the CFO function to strengthen the financial position and achieve plan targets while maintaining high employee engagement.
•Independently lead operational/strategic initiatives and working groups, ensure high-quality communication with the Communications team, and foster collaboration and best-practice exchange using state-of-the-art technology.

Key Requirements

•+5 years of IT experience with solid understanding of Allianz (preferred Allianz Technology) and an educational background preferably in IT and Business Administration.
•Strategic IT planning experience, including aligning technology initiatives with business goals and understanding IT build, rollouts, and run plus IT economics.
•Performance-oriented, proactive problem-solving skills with flexibility to drive results amid changing priorities.
•Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with board members and senior managers across organizational levels, including cross-OE coordination.
•Fluency in written and spoken English; German knowledge is advantageous, and familiarity with AI/GenAI platforms is a strong advantage.
