Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform protective relaying studies and relay settings work, including integration with SCADA systems and NERC compliance tasks.
  • •Conduct power system planning studies (steady-state flows, stability analysis, outage contingencies) using relevant simulation tools and models.
  • •Support design studies for substation grounding, insulation coordination, transient simulation, and power quality analysis.
  • •Design and configure networking/communications paths for RTUs, protective relays, meters, HMIs, PLCs, and other SCADA equipment; troubleshoot/commission at project sites.
  • •Develop logic and control schemes and data acquisition/point lists, including HMI screen work and commissioning data transfer schemes at project sites.
