Job Summary

Assist the batch plant manager with daily plant operations and maintenance at a ready-mix/concrete site. Operate and inspect heavy equipment (e.g., skid steer, man lift, water and haul trucks), run loaders and manage the batch house, and keep conveyors and batch areas clean. Support concrete mix operations (including ice supplies), help with landscaping and grounds upkeep, complete daily inspections/documentation, and follow OSHA/MSHA safety and DOT requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the batch plant manager with daily plant operations and maintenance tasks.
•Perform light servicing and general upkeep on plant equipment, including using ladders for access when needed.
•Safely operate heavy equipment such as bobcat, skid steer, man lift, water truck, and haul truck; promptly report issues to management.
•Contribute to plant operations including running loaders, managing the batch house, cleaning conveyor belt screens, and maintaining ice supplies for concrete mix loads.
•Comply with OSHA/MSHA safety regulations, complete daily equipment inspections and required documentation, and help train less experienced team members.
