Key Responsibilities

  • •Support development and implementation of project-specific durability strategies from concept design through delivery.
  • •Assess environmental exposures using national and international standards to model deterioration mechanisms for construction materials like concrete, masonry, steel, and timber.
  • •Prepare technical specifications for concrete, steel, coatings, and composite materials while ensuring compliance with AS, BS, EN, and ACI standards.
  • •Plan and execute condition assessments of existing concrete, steel, and composite structures using non-destructive testing, material sampling, and laboratory testing.
  • •Develop repair and rehabilitation designs to arrest deterioration, including design documentation for concrete repairs and related protective solutions, plus whole-of-life value considerations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Materials Science).
  • •Prior consulting experience in Australia.
