Key Responsibilities

  • •Own architecture and technical strategy for major frontend manufacturing platforms and Micron’s AI-assisted engineering practices.
  • •Influence 20–50 engineers across multiple teams through design leadership, technical standards, and results.
  • •Design and deliver frontend manufacturing application features, including leading architecture/design reviews for major platform changes.
  • •Contribute production-quality code across a heterogeneous stack including .NET, C++, Angular, Perl, and Python; diagnose and resolve complex cross-system issues and integrations.
  • •Define AI-assisted engineering guardrails and best practices, evaluate and operationalize AI development tooling, and lead training and adoption across the organization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
  • •10–12 years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production applications.
  • •Expertise in modern frontend development, including Angular (or comparable framework), TypeScript, and web application architecture.
  • •Strong server-side engineering experience with .NET/C#, plus proficiency in at least one of C++, Python, or Perl.
  • •Proven ability to lead architecture/design for complex systems across multiple teams and to influence technical direction and engineering standards without formal reporting authority.
