Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a senior technical resource providing design input and technical advice on stability design, basements, structural steel framing and connections; lead the design of post-tensioned concrete floors.
  • •Deliver design and construction phase input, liaise with clients, architects and builders across major projects.
  • •Develop and implement design and delivery procedures to facilitate high-quality, cost-effective work by the team.
  • •Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings and prepare technical specification sections.
  • •Contribute to multi-disciplinary reviews of project deliverables and input to engineering budgets and schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Engineering with ideally 13+ years of experience delivering complex and varied structural engineering projects across Australia / New Zealand.
  • •Experience or interest in delivering mass timber designs is preferred.
  • •Autonomously provide specialised structural technical input to both conceptual and detailed design.
  • •Ability to utilise advanced digital workflows and software such as ETABS, RAM Concept, RAPT and SpaceGASS.
  • •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
