Job Summary

Lead day-to-day supervision of a major buildings project in Jeddah, acting as the client’s on-site representative. Oversee architectural, structural, and MEP works to ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Manage and guide the supervision team, review shop drawings and RFIs, monitor contractor progress, and conduct inspections, quality audits, and safety walks. Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code and oversee testing, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead day-to-day site supervision for architectural, structural, and MEP works.
•Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
•Manage and guide the supervision team (discipline engineers, inspectors, QS, HSE).
•Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.
•Monitor contractor progress, conduct inspections and audits, chair progress meetings, and ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, QA/QC, and handover activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
•20+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in a Resident Engineer or Senior Supervision role.
•Strong background supervising buildings projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use, or institutional).
•Proven experience working with engineering consultancies in the GCC; Saudi experience preferred.
•Excellent knowledge of construction supervision, QA/QC, and contract administration.
