  • •Lead a global team (40+) across all product verticals, including Spend Management, Business Accounts, Payments, Billing, Platform, Growth, and Design Systems.
  • •Scale the global product design practice, quality standards, systems, and culture.
  • •Hire, develop, and retain a world-class design team and expand the SF-based design studio.
  • •Partner with the CPO to share product experience strategy and guide stakeholder alignment across product and engineering.
  • •Own the design budget end to end and steward the design org’s operating principles.

Key Requirements

  • •Exceptional product and UX judgment, from strategy through interaction patterns, information architecture, layout, and UX copy.
  • •Track record personally attracting, closing, and calibrating exceptional designers and design leaders.
  • •Experience in fintech or similarly complex product domains, building products that handle complexity gracefully.
  • •Leadership at scale managing senior design leaders across regions and time zones, including people systems (calibration, promotion, org design).
  • •Comfort operating in company-level planning cycles (OKRs, headcount plans, budgets) with leadership-team collaboration.
