Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the plant foreperson with daily operations and plant upkeep.
  • •Operate heavy equipment safely (including frontend loader and skid steer loader).
  • •Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling and necessary equipment maintenance.
  • •May perform welding and fabrication duties as required.
  • •Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly, while following directions and safety regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or 1–3 months related experience/training).
  • •Ability to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including a frontend loader and skid steer loader.

  • •Join Local 18 IUOE within 60 days of employment and follow all safety requirements and procedures.
