Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy equipment delivery vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading using specialized equipment when warranted, including arranging trailers in shipping yards.
  • •Maintain shipping paperwork (invoices, bills of lading) and perform routine service checks such as oil, water, gasoline, and air; report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a valid commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated.
  • •Pass required background and drug testing, including a DOT physical for trucks over 10k lbs.
  • •Be at least 21 years old and comply with state and federal transportation safety regulations.
  • •Operate vehicles safely for required routes, obeying traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
  • •Lift and move up to 40 pounds and meet physical requirements for prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab.
