Key Responsibilities

  • •Align local/regional HR objectives with global priorities and drive operational consistency and standardization across North Asia.
  • •Act as the HR operations subject matter expert and primary escalation point, partnering on projects, initiatives, and process design.
  • •Review SNOW tickets/trend analysis to improve customer-centricity, effectiveness, and efficiency; manage service provider performance and drive continuous improvements.
  • •Manage employee experience across key lifecycle stages (onboarding, mobility, separation) and continuously improve HR processes, practices, systems, and communications.
  • •Own fundamental HR systems/functionality (Workday Core Module, PeopleDoc, Audit & Compliance/data integrity, ServiceNow) and lead employment regulation/compliance, audits, and government reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in HR operations with a mix of operational and project experience.
  • •Expertise in a case management system (ServiceNow or equivalent) and an HCM environment (SuccessFactors or Workday).
  • •Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations in Japan (and preferably also Korea) with ability to apply them to the organization.
  • •Minimum bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
  • •Fluent Japanese and English; Korean is a plus.
