Job Summary

Lead HR operations for North Asia, aligning regional objectives with global priorities and driving operational excellence across offshore and in-house services. Serve as the HR operations subject matter expert and primary escalation point, using SNOW ticket/trend analysis to improve customer-centricity and efficiency. Own core HR systems and digitalization, manage employment regulation and compliance, and guide a team of 5–6 while partnering with HR communities across Japan and Korea.

Key Responsibilities

•Align local/regional HR objectives with global priorities and drive operational consistency and standardization across North Asia.
•Act as the HR operations subject matter expert and primary escalation point, partnering on projects, initiatives, and process design.
•Review SNOW tickets/trend analysis to improve customer-centricity, effectiveness, and efficiency; manage service provider performance and drive continuous improvements.
•Manage employee experience across key lifecycle stages (onboarding, mobility, separation) and continuously improve HR processes, practices, systems, and communications.
•Own fundamental HR systems/functionality (Workday Core Module, PeopleDoc, Audit & Compliance/data integrity, ServiceNow) and lead employment regulation/compliance, audits, and government reporting.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8 years of experience in HR operations with a mix of operational and project experience.
•Expertise in a case management system (ServiceNow or equivalent) and an HCM environment (SuccessFactors or Workday).
•Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations in Japan (and preferably also Korea) with ability to apply them to the organization.
•Minimum bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
•Fluent Japanese and English; Korean is a plus.
