Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional engineering and product teams to deliver AI-powered products for associates and customers.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI components including foundation model training, LLM inference, agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Use open source and SaaS AI technologies (e.g., AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, VectorDBs, PyTorch) to build and operate AI systems.
  • •Create foundation model optimization and multi-model orchestration pipelines that integrate LLMs, vector search, and domain-specific models.
  • •Establish cost-performance governance and lead technical design councils/review boards while mentoring senior AI engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,800 - 286,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/AI/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or related) plus 6+ years developing AI/ML algorithms, or a Master's plus 4+ years developing AI/ML algorithms.
  • •6+ years of programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Deep technical foundation in engineering and mathematics with expertise spanning hardware, software, and AI optimization.
  • •Experience leading development AI systems with tradeoffs across cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy.
  • •Experience developing and deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
