Job Summary

Design, build, and operationalize end-to-end data solutions in Dataiku DSS as a core member of the Data Analytics & Reporting Tribe. Translate business requirements into scalable data pipelines, dimensional models, and self-service analytics while ensuring data quality, governance, and performance. Develop reusable Python and SQL code, set up CI/CD with GitLab, optimize pipeline performance and cloud storage, and support production incidents and incident root-cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, recipes, and flows in Dataiku DSS to ingest, transform, and expose data from source systems into the enterprise data warehouse/lake.
•Implement data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, slowly changing dimensions, star/snowflake schemas, data vault) to support analytical reporting and BI consumption.
•Develop reusable Python code (Pandas, PySpark, SQLAlchemy) inside Dataiku plugins/recipes/notebooks for data cleansing, enrichment, and advanced analytics.
•Ensure data quality through validation rules, unit tests, and automated data quality checks in Dataiku.
•Set up CI/CD pipelines with GitLab for Dataiku projects, monitor and optimize pipeline performance and cloud storage/cost, and support production incident triage with root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

•7-8 years of hands-on experience creating data-warehousing solutions using Dataiku DSS.
•Strong SQL programming skills, including building procedures/functions and complex SQL queries; experience with PostgreSQL or Teradata is required or an add-on.
•Strong hands-on Python development experience, including reusable utilities, exception handling, debugging, and clean code practices (within Dataiku).
•Experience with data warehousing/ETL concepts and performance tuning, including dimensional modeling and BI consumption support.
•Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer-related field or equivalent experience (6-8 years total experience stated).
