Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop detailed hardware and system specifications from architecture and product requirements.
  • •Lead PCIe bring-up, characterization, debugging, and validation for SSD controller SoCs.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally across Architecture, Build, Verification, Firmware, and Product Engineering, and evaluate/integrate commercial PCIe IP.
  • •Create system-level validation environments and automated test suites for PCIe protocol validation and compliance testing.
  • •Analyze failures, perform root-cause investigations, and drive issue resolution while improving post-silicon test content and debug capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
  • •7+ years of experience in hardware development, silicon validation, or PCIe subsystem engineering.
  • •Strong expertise in PCIe Gen4/Gen5/Gen6, PCIe host systems and root complexes, and PCIe IP bring-up/validation or protocol compliance/interoperability.
  • •Strong knowledge of PCIe LTSSM and post-silicon validation approaches, including debugging.
  • •Proficiency with Python, TCL, C (or similar), and experience using high-speed ATE test/measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, signal/pulse generators, power instrumentation).
