  • •Improve automated and manual testing infrastructure to help developers deliver new features quickly and reliably.
  • •Develop a comprehensive testing strategy for Alpaca’s API surface.
  • •Improve developer experience by standardizing testing tooling and infrastructure.
  • •Coordinate with other teams to increase test coverage, reliability, and speed.
  • •Design and execute load, stress, and scalability tests; mentor product engineers on quality and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • •At least 1 year of experience with Go and prior experience writing code in strongly typed languages.
  • •Built and maintained CI pipelines, using GitHub Actions and/or Google Cloud Build.
  • •Experience with microservices and designing/building automated test frameworks for end-to-end reliability.
  • •Working knowledge of Kubernetes, including writing Helm charts and understanding security best practices (experience or certifications required).
