Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand end-user needs and flexibly design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications and services for National Security customers.
  • •Work within autonomous DevOps teams and contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, including identifying suitable technologies.
  • •Develop proof of concept and production systems, collaborating across different customer and team environments.
  • •Implement CI/CD pipelines, ensure continual automated testing, and maintain code consistency and quality using static analysis.
  • •Operate and manage cloud and deployment capabilities (including containerisation, configuration, and database systems) within agile practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience programming in one or more of JavaScript, Java, .Net, or Python.
  • •Ability to design and build proof-of-concept or production systems collaboratively.
  • •Experience using version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, or Perforce.
  • •Experience with CI/CD and automated testing, using tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, TeamCity, or Bitbucket and automated testing frameworks.
  • •Familiarity with cloud, containerisation, and data stores (e.g., AWS or MS Azure, Docker or Kubernetes, and relational/document/graph databases), plus agile delivery in Scrum/Lean/Kanban.
