Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere strictly to Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
  • •Inspect shipments of scrap metal received via truck, railcar, or ship to ensure specifications are met and materials are free from environmental hazards per scrap acceptance policy.
  • •Correctly identify and record inspection data such as weight, grade, content, and quantity of scrap metal.
  • •Notify operations and commercial supervisors of problems and assist in recommending remedial procedures for issues encountered during inspection.
  • •Support internal control processes and communicate upward operational problems, code of conduct noncompliance, or other policy violations.
