Job Summary

Design and execute comprehensive test plans and cases across the product development lifecycle, combining manual and automated testing for networking features. Investigate and resolve complex issues through detailed root-cause analysis, issue reproduction, and bug logging. Partner with developers, QA peers, Development and TAC engineers, and international team members to validate releases, while building automated scripts and producing documentation and training materials.

•Identify, report, and log product issues in the bug tracking system, and develop automated scripts for functional testing and debugging.
•Work with Development, TAC, and international team members to analyze customer-reported issues and support product releases.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
•Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with a preference for automation development/testing experience.
•Strong understanding of test processes and methodologies, including test case design and problem isolation.
•Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switching, and routing.
•Experience with L2/L3 networking features such as LACP, STP, RIP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LLDP, 802.1X, and VxLAN.
