Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and manage sponsor-funded quantitative research end-to-end, including survey questionnaires, panel recruitment, dataset cleaning/analyzing, and turning findings into sponsor-facing insights.
  • •Collaborate with the sales team on pre-sale ideation and research-led proposal pitching for Skift Studio’s commercial offerings.
  • •Write and/or manage sponsored content production across formats (articles, reports, decks, spoken presentations, video scripts), including oversight of freelance contributors.
  • •Use AI tools to accelerate early-stage ideation, outlining, interview prep, and desk research while upholding editorial standards, originality, and fact-checking.
  • •Handle sponsor deliverables and feedback, and research, script, and moderate live and virtual partner events (talks, panels, webinars).

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated editorial and agency experience in a high-output, fast-moving marketing/ad agency or publishing environment, with B2B digital publishing preferred.
  • •Hands-on experience designing and running survey studies (SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, or similar) and using basic statistical analysis to create story-forward insights for non-technical audiences.
  • •Familiarity with AI content accelerators for early-stage drafting and desk research, while maintaining originality, fact-checking, and editorial standards.
  • •Experience managing client relationships and feedback, building sales materials/proposals, and moderating events with journalistic rigor.
  • •Complete English fluency (written and verbal) and the ability to ideate, write, edit, and proof polished multi-format copy.
