Key Responsibilities

  • •Own dual-market commercial strategy for government agencies and large enterprises, mapping stakeholders and shaping requirements before tenders open.
  • •Lead tender intelligence and capture plans, including competitor/price-to-win analyses and bid/no-bid decisions.
  • •Orchestrate compliant proposal submissions, coordinating clarifications, BAFO, and oral presentations.
  • •Negotiate complex agreements (supply, licensing, co-development), aligning IP, warranties/liability, service levels, and milestone payments to technical gates.
  • •Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, maintaining pipeline forecasting and stage-gating governance with risk reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have direct space industry sales experience selling satellites or space hardware (payloads, cameras, antennas, subsystems).
  • •Minimum 5 years in business development or key accounts, with wins across government procurement and large enterprise buying centers.
  • •Demonstrated full sales cycle ownership: pre-tender shaping, capture planning, proposal/bid leadership, negotiation, and contract close.
  • •Proven success leading competitive bids (capture planning, scoring criteria, compliance, pricing) through long, multi-stakeholder cycles.
  • •Strong negotiation track record on MSAs/SOWs, licensing, co-development, and milestone-based contracts, with fluency in IP and risk allocation.
