Job Summary

Support development engineering tests on the production line or in a lab environment. Interpret engineering and technical instructions to execute experiments and translate outcomes into actions. Troubleshoot basic to moderate equipment/process issues, compile and analyze test data, and help maintain/advance operational processes. Oversee maintenance, work under minimal supervision, and ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Support DE tests on the manufacturing line or perform testing in a lab environment.
•Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering tests (ETAs) on the production line, coupon line, or laboratory, including coordination across team boundaries.
•Troubleshoot tool/process issues and suggest improvements to achieve performance goals.
•Compile and analyze test data from performed testing.
•Apply technical skills to adapt procedures/processes/tools/equipment and ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety policies.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.37 - 32.69 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent with 10 years of relevant technical experience, or 2 years of experience as a Development Engineer Technician I at First Solar.
•Associate’s degree in an engineering discipline (or similar technical discipline) with 3 years of relevant technical experience, or 2 years of experience as Development Engineer Technician I at First Solar.
•Ability to perform sample testing, semiconductor device fabrication, and/or electrical or optical measurements.
•Ability to troubleshoot basic to moderate process and equipment issues on the production line or in the lab.
•Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and some knowledge of SQL/JMP.
