Key Responsibilities

  • •Hire, lead, and develop a team of Data and ML Engineers across data, software, and ML skill sets.
  • •Own end-to-end data foundations for Content Promotion & Distribution, covering analytical pipelines (batch/streaming, modeling, warehousing, quality, reliability) and ML-ready multi-modal data.
  • •Build and operate multi-modal data foundations (text, metadata, image, video, audio) for ML and GenAI model development and evaluation.
  • •Partner with cross-functional leaders to ideate, prioritize, and execute high-impact data products and tools across Content Promotion & Distribution DSE, AI/ML Platform, Content Engineering, Studio Algo, and Marketing.
  • •Provide technical vision and raise the engineering bar for scalable, interpretable models, reliable pipelines, and well-governed, reusable ML feature and media datasets; mentor the team’s growth.

Key Requirements

  • •Lead data engineering teams for 7+ years, including managing managers and larger heterogeneous teams spanning data, software, and ML engineering.
  • •Demonstrate experience leading innovative, influential data engineering work in complex domains, ideally involving multimodal media data, experimentation, and ML/AI-driven products.
  • •Own the technical quality of analytics-focused and ML-focused data engineering, including ETL/ELT, modeling, warehousing, data quality, feature pipelines, and training/serving datasets.
  • •Have strong communication skills to align stakeholders across Director/Manager-level partners, balancing trade-offs and driving decisions.
  • •Deep expertise in one or more areas such as multimodal asset processing pipelines, ML- and experimentation-ready data products, dimensional/semantic data modeling, batch/streaming processing, and working with big data/cloud tech (e.g., S3, Spark).
