Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise 50+ staff through subordinate supervisors and perform second-line supervisory functions for 4–5 first-line supervisory detention officers.
  • •Plan and schedule daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly work; set and adjust priorities and assign tasks through subordinate supervisors based on contract requirements.
  • •Monitor and evaluate employee performance, counsel staff, discuss progress toward performance goals, recommend policy modifications, and handle complaints and disciplinary actions.
  • •Ensure delivery of detention and transportation services meets contract requirements; coordinate with the Assistant Program Manager and COR on operational improvements.
  • •Oversee detention custody and removal activities, including armed land transportation/escorts and detention responsibilities; manage invoices and time/attendance entry in True Time and ensure staff maintain required credentials and ICE system access.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years as a Supervisor Detention Officer or 5 years of successful field supervision experience (civilian law enforcement, commercial/industrial guard service, or security supervisory position).
  • •US citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident, with residence in the U.S. for the last five years.
  • •Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance; pass criminal background/consumer credit check with no criminal record.
  • •Pass all pre-employment and random drug tests and pass a medical examination while meeting health requirements.
  • •Maintain required licenses/credentials, including a valid Puerto Rico state driver’s license (Cat4 preferred), firearms license, and ability to obtain/maintain a state security guard license.
